Guillermina Vallejo is an international relations professional and legal researcher specializing in international criminal justice, public international law, and policy analysis. She currently works at the Secretariat of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, where she supports the institutional, legal, and archival work of the Assembly and its subsidiary bodies. In this role, she has co-organised and delivered high-level segments of the twenty-fourth session of the Assembly of States Parties, contributed to Hague Working Group facilitations, and conducted research and drafting on issues related to Rome Statute implementation and international criminal justice governance.
Guillermina holds an MSc in International Crimes, Conflict and Criminology (summa cum laude) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she was awarded full VUFP and SOZ scholarships. Her master’s research examined how female “tradwife” influencers and far-right political commentators in the United States and the Netherlands normalize exclusionary ideologies through gendered aesthetics and emotionally resonant narratives. She also holds a BA in International Relations from Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, graduating with academic distinction and authoring a thesis on the applicability of international humanitarian law to cyber operations in armed conflict.
Her professional experience spans international organizations, NGOs, academia, and the private sector. Prior to joining the ICC, she served as Executive Assistant to the Business Development Director at Particles for Humanity, where she supported large-scale food fortification and micronutrition research, expanded donor and partner pipelines, and strengthened remote operations through project management and AI-enabled tools. She has also worked as a Public Affairs Analyst at Quipu Advisors, producing political and policy intelligence on Argentina and Latin America for multinational corporations and business councils, and previously held a public and government affairs internship with Dow, focusing on regulatory monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and trade policy across the Southern Cone.
In addition to her professional roles, Guillermina is an active researcher. She has contributed to international human rights advocacy through Lawyers for Lawyers, co-authoring a legal brief on due process violations in Thailand, and supported litigation and research within the African Human Rights System through the International Law Clinic at VU Amsterdam. She is currently a city researcher for the Happy City Index 2026, leading the assessment of Maastricht across governance, wellbeing, sustainability, and inclusion indicators.
Guillermina is fluent in Spanish and English, with working proficiency in Dutch, and brings strong competencies in legal research, OSINT, international policy analysis, and strategic advocacy.
