Nour Sahnoun is a trilingual legal analyst and emerging legal professional specializing in energy law, contract management, regulatory compliance, and comparative legal studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Private Law from the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Common Law, further strengthening her expertise in transnational and multi-jurisdictional legal systems.
Through diverse professional experiences within petroleum operations, law firms, and the insurance sector, Nour has developed strong practical skills in legal drafting, contract structuring, litigation support, and risk assessment. She is currently serving as a Legal Intern at Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activités Pétrolières, where she works on petroleum agreements, joint venture structures, HSE compliance integration, and contractual risk allocation within the oil and gas industry. Her work involves aligning operational projects with national and international regulatory frameworks while ensuring legal consistency throughout the contract lifecycle.
Previously, Nour completed internships at Amilcar Petroleum Operations and with Maître Rym Chabbi, where she contributed to legal memoranda, procurement and contract management analysis, regulatory enforcement research, and comparative legal studies involving Tunisian and Common Law systems. She also gained experience in insurance law at BH Assurance, handling insurance contracts, claims analysis, and litigation-related procedures. Her areas of interest include energy governance, contractual liability, regulatory compliance, and comparative law. She is particularly interested in the evolving intersection between commercial law, international legal frameworks, and operational risk management in complex legal environments.
