Sharon Mala is a third-year law student at the University of Edinburgh currently on exchange at Leiden University with a strong interest in international law, digital governance, and access to justice. Her work focuses on how emerging technologies intersect with legal protection frameworks, particularly for vulnerable groups. Sharon has experience conducting bilingual (French/English) legal research on telecommunications, digital regulation, and cyber governance through her policy and legal research role at AIGIS Consulting, where she contributes to an ITU-commissioned digital infrastructure project for Côte d’Ivoire. As a CyJurII Scholar in the Case Law Department, she produces academically grounded commentaries on cyber-related judicial decisions, supporting comparative research on rights and accountability in the digital age.
