Shohista Magrupova

Shohista Narimon Qizi Magrupova is a legal researcher, academic educator, and legal practitioner with a strong background in international commercial law, legal research, and higher education. With nearly a decade of experience in academia and legal practice, she has established expertise in legal research, curriculum development, academic mentoring, and legal writing. She currently serves as a Lawyer at Asalarichi Construction Company while continuing to contribute to legal scholarship and education through research and teaching. Her work is characterized by a commitment to making legal knowledge accessible, promoting academic excellence, and supporting evidence-based legal research.

Shohista earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law with Merit and her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Law with First Class Honours from Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT). Her academic foundation has equipped her with comprehensive knowledge of international commercial law, comparative legal systems, and legal analysis, providing a solid basis for both research and professional legal practice.

From 2015 to 2025, she served as a Research Assistant and Instructor at WIUT, where she supported academic research in law and social sciences while delivering lectures and seminars in business law, legal systems, personal development, and introductory law courses. She also contributed to curriculum design, assessment development, and student mentoring, helping students strengthen their legal reasoning and academic performance. Her scholarly work includes research on foreign direct investment in Central Asia and higher education sustainability, reflecting her interest in international commercial law and comparative legal studies.

Beyond her academic achievements, Shohista possesses strong competencies in legal research and writing, data analysis, critical thinking, and academic communication. Fluent in Uzbek and English, with professional proficiency in Russian, she is well equipped to engage in international and cross-cultural legal research.
