Yevheniia Khoroshun

Yevheniia Khoroshun is an emerging international law scholar, legal researcher, and aspiring practitioner with a strong interest in public international law, technology governance, and the ethical regulation of emerging technologies. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in International Law and Legal Studies at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, she has distinguished herself through academic excellence, legal research, and practical engagement with contemporary legal challenges.

Yevheniia’s academic focus centers on international legal frameworks, European Union law, and the intersection of law and technology. Her research interests include artificial intelligence governance, digital regulation, international commercial law, and the evolving role of legal institutions in addressing global technological developments. She is the author of a forthcoming academic article examining the international legal framework for the ethical use of artificial intelligence technologies, reflecting her commitment to exploring the legal and ethical implications of innovation in the digital age.

Alongside her studies, Yevheniia has gained practical legal experience through internships and clinical legal work. As a Legal Intern at FELIX Law Firm, she supports litigation teams by analyzing international contracts, assessing legal risks, and preparing legal documents and protocols. Previously, she served as a specialist at the Legal Clinic of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, where she contributed to military-law cases by providing legal research, documentation support, and client-oriented legal assistance.

Yevheniia has also developed significant experience in legal journalism and public legal communication through her work with JURIST, an internationally recognized legal news platform. As both a correspondent and editor, she produced legal news briefs and analyses, translating complex international legal developments into accessible and engaging content for diverse audiences.

A recipient of academic recognition from the Supreme Court of Ukraine and a participant in international educational initiatives, including the Nuremberg 80 Forum hosted by the University of Cambridge, Yevheniia is committed to advancing international legal scholarship, promoting ethical technology governance, and contributing to the development of a rules-based international order.
