Zaruhi Tamazyan

Zaruhi Tamazyan is an emerging legal professional and researcher specializing in corporate law, public international law, international arbitration, and cybersecurity regulation. Combining practical experience in corporate legal practice with active engagement in international legal research and policy development, she has built a multidisciplinary profile focused on cross-border legal issues, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.

Currently serving as a Junior Lawyer at MB Legal in Yerevan, Armenia, Zaruhi advises domestic and international clients on corporate governance, company incorporation, regulatory compliance, and immigration law. Her work includes drafting and negotiating corporate documentation, managing company registration and restructuring processes for foreign investors, conducting legal due diligence, and preparing legal memoranda on corporate and regulatory matters. Previously, she worked as a Junior Lawyer at Armgate Advisers, where she gained further experience in commercial contracts, corporate structuring, and legal risk assessment.

Alongside her corporate practice, Zaruhi has developed strong expertise in international law through internships and research initiatives. At the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union, she conducted research on EAEU treaty law and observed judicial proceedings involving interstate and advisory disputes. During her internship at Ara Ghazaryan Law Firm, she contributed to applications before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), conducting research on Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, property rights, and admissibility criteria. She also served on a working group established by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, contributing legal analysis and policy recommendations on Armenia’s draft cybersecurity legislation, with a particular focus on data protection, privacy, and national security.

An active participant in the international legal community, Zaruhi has presented research on investment arbitration, sovereignty, and human rights at academic conferences and has participated in numerous international arbitration, humanitarian law, and international law programs. Her academic interests include investment law, international arbitration, human rights, international criminal law, and technology regulation. Fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English, she is committed to advancing international legal scholarship and supporting effective legal solutions to complex cross-border challenges.
