Do Thi Hai An is an interdisciplinary legal researcher and policy professional specializing in cyber jurisprudence, AI governance, digital rights, and cross-border legal regulation. With eight years of experience in legislative research, comparative legal analysis, and international project coordination, she combines expertise in international law with advanced technical knowledge in cybersecurity and digital governance. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) at City St George’s, University of London, building upon a First-Class Bachelor of Laws in International Trade Law from Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. Her work reflects a commitment to advancing evidence-based legal scholarship at the intersection of emerging technologies and international law.

Hai An began her research career as a Governance and Legislative Research Assistant on a National Assembly research project in Vietnam, where she conducted comparative legal and public policy research supporting parliamentary deliberations on education, justice, and institutional reform. Her analyses of legislation, international practices, and policy frameworks were incorporated into briefing materials used by Members of the National Assembly during high-level legislative proceedings, demonstrating her ability to translate complex legal issues into practical policy recommendations.

Professionally, she has served as a Legal and International Project Coordinator at Vina-CUES Consulting, managing comparative legal research across environmental governance, investment, and regulatory compliance projects involving Vietnamese and Japanese organizations. She currently works as a Country Operations and Risk Coordinator in an international fintech environment, monitoring regulatory developments and translating compliance requirements into operational procedures. Alongside these roles, she has worked as an Executive English Communication Consultant, developing structured learning materials that simplify legal, policy, and technical concepts for professionals.

Her research interests include AI and law, cybercrime, cybersecurity governance, digital sovereignty, comparative technology law, and cross-border jurisdiction.
