Edgar Meyroyan

Edgar Meyroyan, PhD is an international lawyer, legal strategist, and academic specializing in public international law, international investment law, cross-border transactions, and corporate governance. Combining extensive experience in private practice, academia, and international legal research, he has advised governments, multinational corporations, and startups on complex legal and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Edgar serves as a Legal Assistant Manager at EY Armenia, where he leads legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and regulatory compliance projects across diverse industries. His practice encompasses international investment arbitration, aviation law, mining law, sanctions compliance, gaming regulation, and corporate governance. He has advised on bilateral investment treaties, aircraft transactions, extractive industries governance, and multinational compliance frameworks, while also designing internal governance and risk management systems aligned with international best practices.

In addition to his corporate practice, Edgar is the Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer of Woosh Logistics, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based logistics startup, where he oversees legal strategy, commercial contracting, and regulatory compliance. His entrepreneurial work has been recognized through admission to Berkeley SkyDeck and Angel Club, reflecting his ability to bridge legal expertise with business innovation.

Edgar also serves as a Senior Scholarly Researcher at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Foundation, where he researches international legal avenues for genocide reparations, state responsibility, and historical justice. His scholarship explores international criminal law, human rights, and genocide studies, resulting in publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes.

His academic credentials include an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, doctoral studies in law, and teaching experience in public international law, legal writing, and international human rights. A member of the American Society of International Law (ASIL) and a published Scopus author, Edgar has also coached and judged prestigious international moot court competitions, mentoring future generations of international lawyers.
