Dua Nadeem is an editorial and content development professional with experience in academic publishing, educational content, and multidisciplinary writing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Sindh Madressatul Islam University, with an academic focus on literature, linguistics, and language education. Her educational background integrates literary analysis, psycholinguistics, second language acquisition, and communication studies, forming a strong foundation for editorial and content-focused roles.
She has gained hands-on editorial and publishing experience through her work with Oxford University Press Pakistan, where she served both as a Publishing Intern and later as a Freelance Contractor within the Publishing Department. In these roles, she supported editing, proofreading, and content preparation processes, working with academic and educational materials and developing a strong understanding of publishing workflows, editorial standards, and content accuracy.
Currently, Dua works as a Content Developer at FESE – Deaf Reach, where she contributes to the development of accessible and educational content, and as an Academic Associate Contractor with Charter for Compassion Pakistan, supporting academic writing, research-oriented content, and educational initiatives. Her work reflects a strong alignment with inclusive education, language development, and content designed for diverse learning contexts.
In addition to her professional roles, Dua is a published author and illustrator. Her work “Amin’s Harvest for Tomorrow: Through Nine Compassion Attributes” was published by Aga Khan University – Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), demonstrating her ability to manage end-to-end content creation, from conceptualization to publication. With strong skills in editing, proofreading, academic writing, and instructional content design, and experience working with digital writing tools and collaborative platforms, Dua brings a detail-oriented, adaptable, and growth-focused editorial profile well-suited for junior to mid-level editor roles.
